Shadows by Paula Weston Blog Tour and Giveaway!!!

I'm very excited to be part of the Shadows blog tour! I LOVED every minute of this book and can't wait for you guys to read it! There's a review, giveaway and dream cast all in this post! I was too excited and I wanted to go all out with this post! I hope you enjoy it and don't forget to visit all the stops in the tour. Thank you to Tundra Books for letting me be part of this blog tour and for the awesome giveaway.

It’s almost a year since Gaby Winters was in the car crash that killed her twin brother, Jude. Her body has healed in the sunshine of Pandanus Beach, but her grief is raw and constant. It doesn’t help that every night in her dreams she kills demons and other hell-spawn.

And then Rafa comes to town. Not only does he look exactly like the guy who’s been appearing in Gaby’s dreams—he claims a history with her brother that makes no sense. Gaby is forced to accept that what she thought she knew about herself and her life is only a shadow of the truth—and that the truth is more likely to be found in the shadows of her nightmares.

Who is Rafa? Who are the Rephaim? And most importantly, who can she trust?
I loved this book so so much! I want to give Paula Weston a round of applause for writing a Kick ass angel book. Now I want to give her a standing ovation for writing such yum-delicious character like Rafa.

Now that that's out of the way let's talk about the book. From the first page forward this book had me on the edge of my seat. I was actually a bit scared at the beginning. But a good scare. Also the pacing of the book was brilliant. I finished the book in two days and that's because life got in the way.  I was very close to taking a day off from work just to finish Shadows. This book was that good.

Of course a book having good content and great pacing is never enough. The characters have to rock. And rock they did. I loved Gaby she was a well fleshed out character. Every emotion she felt I felt. I connected with her. Rafa in the other hand was a complete mystery. There's some back story for him in Shadows but not too much. Enough to keep you wanting more. It really didn't bother me that all my questions weren't answer in the first book because that means more books and more Rafa!! Did I tell you I love him?

The paranormal part of the book was so very intriguing. The story behind the angels, Rephaim and demons was explained very well. I was fascinated by every discovery Gaby made about the Rephaim! I thought everything about Shadows was amazing and I can't wait to get my hands on Haze!!!!

Tundra books is providing a copy of Shadows for giveaway! This giveaway is US/CAN only and will end 10/3/13. Good luck!
