Lana McDaniel has lived her life in her cousin's shadow. While Lana struggled with her grades no matter how hard she tried, her mother praised Ashton's intelligence. She hadn’t been blessed with Ashton’s blond hair and flawless skin, but that didn't keep her mother from lamenting her naturally red hair and freckles. But none of that would have mattered if Ashton hadn’t always had Sawyer Vincent wrapped around her finger -- the only boy Lana wanted. Once Ashton let Sawyer go, Lana had been so sure that he’d move on. Determined to make Sawyer finally see her, she'd talked her mother into letting her spend the summer with Ashton. But Sawyer is still in love with Ashton, and Lana isn’t going to be anyone's rebound girl. No matter how yummy Sawyer Vincent’s kisses taste.
Let me begin by saying that Abbi is a genius. I just want to marry every single book she has written. Honestly, I can't pick my favorite. They are that good. The Vincent Brothers is the sequel to The Vincent Boys. If you haven’t read the first book you shouldn’t read this one because it will ruin the big twist at the end of The Vincent Boys.
I’m glad for the voices Abbi gave Sawyer and Lana. They were totally different from Beau and Ashton. Where Ash and Beau were more mature and rebels, Lana and Sawyer are more sweet and innocent. They are perfect for each other and the chemistry worked beautifully. I did have my issues with Sawyer (I was furious actually) but that made the book interesting and it spiked the sexual tension between the characters.
I could NOT put this book down. It always happens with Abbi’s books. You just have to finish them in one sitting. The Vincent Brothers will leave you hungry for more of Abbi's awesome writing!
I'll be giving away a SIGNED paperback copy of The Vincent Brothers!!! Sorry this giveaway is US only and ends 6/22. Thanks to Abbi for providing this awesome prize!
