Switched by Amanda Hocking

When Wendy Everly was six-years-old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn't until eleven years later that Wendy discovers her mother might have been right. With the help of Finn Holmes, Wendy finds herself in a world she never knew existed - a world both beautiful and frightening, and Wendy's not sure she wants to be a part of it.

WOW! Switched is definitely a must read. Hocking had me at the prologue. Not many books start with a shocker, but Switched did and that's what kept me wanting more. The beginning of the book is good but as I got deeper in I realized that the writing is excellent and the characters are amazing.

The plot is original and well developed. Switched did not have a dull moment. I was surprised that I enjoyed being in Wendy's head. Most of the time heroines are a little annoying but, Wendy was the total opposite. She's funny and tough. And ooh la la Finn!! He’s a breath of fresh air. I loved how he said whatever he was thinking and never sugar coated anything.

I finished Switched a few hours ago and I miss the characters already. I can't wait to read Torn!
