Struggles ensue as both Layken and Will search for a balance between that which keeps them apart and the feelings that pull them together.


I started reading Slammed yesterday morning and finished it last night at 2:00am. This is what I know for sure: I’m in LOVE with this book. The writing was amazing and I instantly connected with the characters. After finishing it I couldn’t sleep and this happens when I need to write a review ASAP. But instead of writing a review I wrote a “poem”. I have never written a poem before and I promised myself to publish it with this review. Keep in mind that I wrote this in less than 10 minutes and it was 2am. Thanks in advance for not laughing at me ;)

Book Love

Slammed. 

A book that won’t help you 

Sleep or think! 

All you want to do 

Is Weep. 

Weep of happiness 

Sadness 

And the ness’ in between. 

Between my sheets 

With no sleep 

I’m thinking tomorrow will be 

A long day 

With out a read. 

No, 

No. 

Not one read 

Cuz my mind can’t process 

All the beauty in this book 

In 24 hours. 

All the love 

And the words that inspire 

Me to plead 

Plead readers out there 

To give this book 

A peek. 

You won’t regret it!

To stop smiling
